Students and Postgraduate Fellows
In the last three years, postgraduate fellows and graduate students in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology have nearly tripled in number. Fellows and students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Students matriculate mainly through the combined Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology (BCMB) Program in the Weill Graduate School of Medical Sciences of Cornell University, and research opportunities for students are available as short rotations or as long-term projects directed toward completion of the PhD thesis. Fellows may chose from a wealth of research options among a wide variety of high profile labs.
